Description
A popular myth says that one can only stand an egg on end during the equinoxes. However, my wife is an egg-whisperer, who with a good measure of patience and skill can stand an egg on end whenever she wants. I enlisted her talent, and this egg obliged me by standing on end for a 45 minute photo shoot. I created this composite image by combining two photographs: an egg overlaid by a flower.

I very much enjoy the soft glow of the flower within the egg . . . I would call this "Spring" because of the promise of life - plant and animal - that it symbolizes. This is one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for December 7.
